Bio
I am a Postdoctoral Associate in Elizabeth Barnes’ group at Boston University. My background includes an undergraduate degree in Physics, a Masters in Civil and Environmental Engineering, and five years in environmental consulting before pursuing a PhD at CU Boulder. I completed my PhD at CU Boulder in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences, where I worked on machine learning methods for data assimilation and probabilistic emulation of radiative transfer advised by Aneesh Subramanian.
My current research explores the multivariate structure of probabilistic AI/ML forecasts, with applications to forecasting of coastal extremes, S2S prediction, and improving how observations are incorporated into next-generation forecast systems.
